Chip inductor manufacturing in China is moving toward models with high inductance, frequency and precision, large power and small configuration to keep pace with trends in application markets. The last include the telecom, computer, automotive and medical electronics, LED and new energy sectors, and the Internet of Things. Makers continue to concentrate on mainstream multilayer and wirewound types, which collectively represent 99 percent of output.
