Makers of PCB connectors in China are concentrating on FPC kinds, spurred by rising demand from the smartphone, tablet PC, and automotive and medical electronics sectors. They look to benefit from the category’s annual sales growth, which is predicted to surpass 15 percent in the months ahead. A further spur is the global boom, which is projected to result in $13.2 billion in revenue by 2016 from $9.2 billion in 2011, according to Prismark.
