- Durable, nontoxic materials: Makers prefer plastic to metal because the input does not retain heat and costs less. To ensure quality, suppliers adopt LLDPE from South Korea. The material is wear- and UV-resistant, and flame-retardant. For the coating, companies are using BASF paint from Germany, which is nontoxic and colorfast. Metal models utilize 2 or 3mm galvanized steel panels. These are strong and withstand rusting.
