The latest releases have 5-point safety harnesses, suspension systems and double-locking mechanisms.
- Safety prioritized: In response to the updated ASTM F833, EN 1888 and AS/NZS 2088 standards, China makers of jogging strollers are incorporating 5-point harness systems. The belt structure keeps children more secure and diverts crash forces away the body. Suppliers are also using double-locking mechanisms to prevent strollers from collapsing.
- Enhanced user comfort: Many models have adjustable canopies and seats that can be reclined in multiple angles. Companies are integrating suspension systems to improve shock absorption. Many are adopting 6 to 12in air-filled wheels to elevate stability and mobility. Storage baskets and additional pockets for baby bottles, diapers, wallets and keys are common inclusions. Some versions can be converted into carrycots.
- Convenient storage: The latest releases fold and snap back easily. A number of designs have detachable seat cushions, food trays and wheels.
