Million-dollar Amazon seller Will Tjernlund discussed an alternative Amazon opportunity at the Global Sources Summit on how to build a Private Label brand through wholesale for online and Amazon sellers in Hong Kong.
He advised sellers to approach traditional brands and ask to represent them on Amazon. This works well if (a) there are many sellers on Amazon, (b) those sellers are breaking MAP, (c) their brick & mortar store customers are complaining to them about low price Amazon sales. Will also talked about how to discuss Amazon selling with brand owners.
