Up-to-date telecom accessories, Bluetooth and other wireless products lead the first Korea Sourcing Fair.
A diverse selection of accessories, Bluetooth devices and high-tech telecom products are taking the centerstage at the Korea Sourcing Fair: Electronics & Components in Hong Kong. The inaugural event brings together global buyers and export-ready South Korea suppliers from Oct. 12 to 15 at the AsiaWorld-Expo.
Veteran accessory suppliers to Samsung and LG are among the participating manufacturers. Their product selections consist of high-grade cow leather, PU and chamude cases. These include lidded models with Velcro, elastic band, magnet and snap-on button. Some come with an optional swivel belt clip or strap.
Aluminum cases with suede interior and soft, molded EVA sponge cases, textured Oxford fabric wrapper cases and translucent PVC sleeves are in the lineups as well. Doll cases in soft fur or velour fabric and animal shapes await buyers looking for products for the youth.
Other nonelectronic accessories to be exhibited include zinc and brass stylus pens, leather and chromium-plated finger straps, crystal-lined hand straps, microfiber LCD cleaners, holsters and nylon neck straps. A specialized film company will demonstrate anti-bacterial screen protectors that enhance LCD contrast, block UV rays and prevent scratches.
Buyers can also sample anti-fingerprint films for touchscreen displays and anti-glare protectors for GPS navigators.
Under electronic accessories, product exhibits encompass stylish stands for synching and recharging that resemble aluminum desktop phones and touch pens doubling as USB flash drives.
Bluetooth device specialists will showcase their ultraslim car kits, noise-canceling earpieces, stereo headsets, text to speech-enabled speakers and dongles for non-Bluetooth mobile phones.
Wristband handsfree kits that enable unhampered conversations in the middle of a sports activity are expected to attract attention. Product integrators may also be interested in multimedia, data and other modules featuring Bluetooth, 2.4GHz RF and other wireless technologies.
Data communication specialists will present their newest data modems, vehicle trackers, GPS navigators, and palm-sized personal and asset trackers. A major navigation software developer will be in attendance to showcase its latest GPS digital maps and capability for custom projects, including unique GUIs.
