A range of men's and women's clothing, fabrics and trimmings are expected to attract buyers' attention at the inaugural China Sourcing Fair: Garments & Textiles.
On-trend apparel and environment-friendly fabrics will be taking center stage at the China Sourcing Fair: Garments & Textiles in Hong Kong. Major suppliers from the Greater China region and other manufacturing hubs in Asia are anticipated to attend the new specialized exhibition, which will run from Oct. 27 to 30 at the AsiaWorld-Expo.
Dresses made of beaded and embroidered silk, and pure polyester crepon and satin are going to be introduced. Suitable for warm weather, knitted and woven variants in cotton, spun rayon and polyester will be presented as well. Sheath and shift styles in various colors and prints are expected to be popular.
In addition, participating companies will offer blouses boasting flared hems and embroidered motifs. Blazers that emphasize a notched collar, fitted bodice and flap pockets are anticipated to be well-received among women business wear. Four-way stretch jeans will also be showcased in exhibitors' booths.
A large number of recently released winter garments are going to be presented at the event. Heated clothing such as nanocarbon fiber-lined suede vests, polyester fiberfill-padded jackets and slim-fit outerwear will be available for testing.
Sourcing for sports apparel is expected to be vigorous as suppliers display their latest ski suits, hunting and fishing vests, running shirts, and cycling jerseys and bottoms. Companies are also showcasing new softshell jackets and various kinds of compression garments.
Major manufacturers will be offering pure and blended jute, rayon from bamboo, and other environment-friendly textiles. Several exhibitors are launching variants that emphasize cooling, moisture-absorbent and anti-bacterial properties.
Trimming suppliers, meanwhile, are going to promote various types of guipure lace and iron-on transfers.
