Products at the China Sourcing Fair: Underwear & Swimwear will emphasize embellishments, bold colors and comfort.
Major apparel exporters are set to reveal the latest in undergarments, bathing suits, sleepwear and accessories at the China Sourcing Fair: Underwear & Swimwear. More than a hundred suppliers will be present at the event, which will run from Oct. 27 to 30 at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong.
Lingerie in nylon and spandex blends is expected to draw attention throughout the four-day exhibit. Bustiers and rhinestone-studded seamless bras will be showcased. Other selections include string bikinis with floral trim. Pieces for the summer collection will boast colorful lace and prints.
Companies are also presenting a variety of men's underwear such as low-cut, ergonomic and relaxed-fit boxer briefs with gussets on the rise.
Products for children will include girls' cotton panties and tank top sets, and boys' allover-printed briefs and single-jersey boxer shorts.
Boardshorts for both men and women are expected to be available. Most styles have elastic waistbands or drawstring and hook-and-loop closures.
While men's swimwear is usually less colorful than female counterparts, a few designs will feature Hawaii-inspired motifs.
Women's bikinis and tankinis consisting of sequined, floral-printed, and vibrant tops and bottoms will be on display. The selection of maillots includes multiple-string and beaded styles, and denim versions trimmed with lace.
Sleepwear pieces that have wireless cups and single straps are going to be presented. See-through camisoles and ruffled babydoll tops will be available as well.
Apart from the supplier exhibits, Global Sources will hold daily fashion parades that showcase upcoming product trends. Visitors can also consult with industry experts and attend a series of trade conferences.

About $15 million is generated in annual sales.
Garments are tested by Intertek and SGS. These are sent to Europe, Southeast Asia and Japan. Levi Strauss and Dickies are some of the supplier's major clients.
Hi-Style boasts 34 years of manufacturing apparel, including undergarments, nightclothes, sports attire and outerwear. The family-run business exports mainly to the EU, the Middle East, the US and Australia.
The supplier has 12 subcontractors in mainland China and Hong Kong for production. One in-house and several freelance designers are available for OEM services. The QC team consists of four inspectors and one manager.
AQL 2.5/4.0 testing procedure is followed.
Jinjiang Jiayuan produces underwear at a 12,000sqm factory supported by a 350-strong workforce. Quanzhou Kaiwei supplies men's and women's underwear, vests, T-shirts, and children's clothes that conform to the Oeko-Tex Standard 100. These are mainly sent to Europe, the US, Japan and Australia.
The company, which invests 20 percent of its yearly income in R&D, releases 10 new styles monthly and generates about $15 million in annual sales.
Quanzhou Qingyi boasts 20 years of designing and manufacturing underwear and casual apparel for men, women, and children. Its selection includes boxer briefs, boy shorts, corsets, panties, T-shirts, vests, baby rompers, and women's pajamas and suits. Among the major clients are Pierre Cardin, Delta and Lee Cooper.
The supplier currently has 300 designs and updates the product range by releasing 30 new models every month.
